We would like to create a movement in Vilcabamba where people can gain access to things they want or need by trading things they already have and no longer need or by trading their unique skills and abilities. We believe that this will enrich the community by removing financial limits placed on us by exterior forces that are out of our control. With a strong barter system we can continue to receive what we need for a happy life without being limited by the money in people's bank accounts. If we have the skills and the creativity we can continue to build a beautiful community and provide for it's members without money.
